SaltWave started as a beach shack in Bali in 2018. Today, we operate at 25+ destinations worldwide, but our mission hasn't changed: make surfing accessible, safe, and unforgettable for everyone.
Our Story
Founded by pro surfer Malia Keahi, SaltWave grew from a single Bali outpost into a global surf education network. We've taught over 15,000 students — from kids catching their first whitewash to seasoned riders chasing barrels.
Every location is hand-picked for wave quality, safety, and community. Our instructors are ISA-certified and locally based, so they know every reef, sandbar, and current like the back of their hand.
We partner with local communities and environmental organizations to protect the coastlines that give us so much joy.
